Understanding the Content Workflow

Typical Workflow in LEAP + Craft CMS

  1. Create a Draft – Start writing your content in a safe, unpublished state.
  2. Save as Draft or Publish Later – Keep working on it without making it public.
  3. Review & Approve – Editors or Admins can review drafts before publishing.
  4. Publish – Make the entry visible on the live site.
  5. Update & Republish – Edit content at any time; changes go live once saved.

Status Indicators in Craft

  • Live – The content is visible to the public.
  • Draft – The content is saved but not visible publicly.
  • Disabled – The entry exists but is not shown on the live site.

Tip: Always preview your changes before publishing to ensure everything looks correct.
