Using the Rich Text Editor

Summary:

Learn how to format text, add links, and structure your content using Craft CMS’s Rich Text Editor.

Formatting Text

• Bold: Highlight text and click the B icon.
• Italic: Highlight text and click the I icon.
• Headings: Use the dropdown to choose Heading 2, Heading 3, etc. (Heading 1 is usually reserved for page titles).
• Lists: Click the bullet or numbered list icons to create lists.

Adding Links

1. Highlight the text you want to link.
2. Click the Link icon.
3. Paste the URL or choose an internal entry.
4. Click OK.

Tip: Always set links to open in a new tab if they lead to an external site.
